Dr.’s Corner
Dr. Buerger established a highly successful private family practice in Northern California from 1992 until 2009. In February of 2010, she brought her expertise to Southeastern Idaho with a clinic in Ammon, Idaho specializing in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and healthy pregnancies.
She is part of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s (ICPA) seminar program where she offers a course on Neurosensory Integration and Sensory Processing Disorder. Due to the large demand, she now offers advanced courses on the topic for the Doctor of Chiropractic interested in caring for children with neurodevelopmental disorders and has founded the Intersect4kids certification program for The Care and Management of Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
“It is incredibly difficult for me to put into words what Dr. Buerger has done for me. Her passion, enthusiasm, and excitement for the subject are contagious from the moment you walk into her seminar. She brings a completely different outlook on working with children (and adults for that matter) that lie on the Autism Spectrum; whether it is a classical case of Autism or a child diagnosed with ADHD, she shows you how to work with them. The classes are fun and informative and, lucky for me, very interactive. Her hands on demonstrations and class participation not only kept my attention but also allowed me to truly learn the material and utilize it in my office. Her work in Sensory Processing Disorders and on the Autism Spectrum has taken my Chiropractic Career down a whole new path. I have a new found excitement for Chiropractic and a greater understanding of not only these children and adults, but also myself. Thank you Dr. Buerger! “- Testimonial by Dr. Tiffany Green, Seattle, WA
